Kpangbala ‘Mr. S’ Sengbe

LICSW, Therapist

For the last twenty years, I have dedicated my work to helping those who struggle with depression, trauma, and mental health. My work is dedicated to helping populations who are traditionally underserved and marginalized, as well as those from other communities. My expertise includes working with adolescents and adults, and their families, ADHD/autism, and men’s issues

I utilize a variety of practice modalities including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and behavioral modification techniques to help navigate the continuum of treatment services to adults and adolescents, utilizing individualistic and eco-systemic approaches to ensure that treatment is successful.

Whether it is your first time in therapy, or you have been in therapy for a long time, my aim is to meet you wherever you are on your journey to recovery. I am committed to helping you achieve the goals that we set at the beginning of the treatment process, in a compassionate and respectful manner.

“I have experience working with adolescents and older adults. I enjoy seeing human development across the lifespan and supporting clients throughout the changes in their lives. I work with clients living with depression, anxiety, trauma, and those struggling with isolation and other anxiety-related environmental factors due to the recent pandemic. I believe that all client experiences deserve to be honored.”
