Jennifer Spinler, Intern Therapist

As a therapist, I believe therapy should be a safe place to explore, reflect, and be yourself even if you don’t know what is going on or can’t put it into words. I work with individuals and couples struggling with interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and trauma symptoms seeking change in their lives. I work with people of all backgrounds and across the lifespan. Some things we may do together: identify emotions, seek relief from emotional distress, work towards greater self-acceptance and compassion, learn new coping skills, and improve relationships.

My therapeutic approach meets each individual with an open mind and an understanding we all have a unique story with different perspectives and preferences. Some techniques I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy.

It is important that we build a relationship on trust and open communication. My goal is to assist you in living your best life. A life where we seek growth and change and minimize pain and suffering, improve our relationships, and work towards a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. I would be happy to speak with you to see if we might be a good fit.
