I approach therapy as a partnership built to support people through their journey of mental wellness and self-discovery. I build the foundation of this partnership through active listening, empathy, and compassion. As we move forward, I guide individuals, couples and groups to build insight into their current patterns, exploring how various patterns do and do not serve the person, relationship, or group. From there, I support individuals who may want to change their patterns or ways of being. Throughout my practice, I use a social justice lens to support clients in understanding how their environment impacts their mental wellness and general well being.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over five years of experience serving individuals, couples, and groups experiencing life transitions, depression, anxiety, effects of past trauma, and challenges within interpersonal relationships.
