Feeling like it’s been one of those days where nothing goes right- but you keep having those days over and over again? Feeling like you could be in a room full of people and still feel completely alone? Struggling with concentration to get through your work day or even motivation to get out of bed? Perhaps recently a friend has told you talking to someone might help or you have even thought to yourself “maybe life doesn’t have to be so hard.” Whatever your reason for beginning this process, I applaud you on taking this step to find a therapist that is right for you and I would love to chat more about how I may be able to support you on this journey.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with years of practice working with adolescents and adults in dealing with symptoms of depression and anxiety, struggles with mood fluctuations, difficulties building and/or maintaining healthy and positive relationships, and those struggling with how their past may be effecting their present and future. I also specialize in working with parents of children/adolescents who may be experiencing stress or grief around their child’s mental health diagnoses and symptoms. With years of experience in acute care and brief treatment settings, I am well versed in supporting parents through periods that can be very challenging and, at times, unsafe.

My goal in therapy is for each individual to feel supported, validated, safe, and as though they are no longer stuck in the same emotional or relational patterns over and over again. By empowering you through this relationship, my hope is that you will feel supported to share your own internal experience and gently explore the next steps for healing and change.

Education, Training, License, and Affiliations:
